Get a clue...!

The Pink Panther(2006) was definitely worth watching contrast to the 4/10 review rating.

A hilarious package- the kinda movie you want to watch to take your mind off the daily worries and you can laugh so much that your tummy could hurt! Steve Martin is simply superb as Inspector Clousseau - his accent and face expression perfect! Beyonce Knowles as Xania looks great and smooth sails through her small role in the movie.Emily Mortimer as Nicole has some awkward scenes with Steve that is supposedly comical ! :-P

The movie is supposed to be based on the 1964 classic, but I haven't caught up with the orginal to make a justified opinion. All I know is with least of expectation I enjoyed the comedy, mostly , cos sometimes its forced upon us......this one is a must see to help feel lighter!

Rare Snow day! 01/10/2021

 After a grilling 2020, 2021 started out with a mixture of emotions - grim but hopeful, distant from family but long WhatsApp calls, rainy but looking forward to the sunshine in the coming days. A lot of R&R is how we started our New Years, thanks to the long weekend. We read, watched tv, cooked and slept a lot!  Once work started, it didn't even feel very different from the past few weeks. Unfortunately a few days into the first working week, there was chaos in the DC Capitol and many State Capitols. A riot started by an infuriating and possibly out-of-work men and women wanting to display their passionate support of an incapable President. Back to feeling uncertain and grim about the future, we were surprised by Mother Nature providing us a rare snow fall day here in Austin, TX! It was simply amazing and a great 2nd Sunday of the year where we got 3.5-4 inches of snow ! The sights were remarkable during and after the snow fall. The entire city and neighbors were thrilled...

Fun weekend trip!!

South Lake Tahoe (Nevada) was our adventure trip this Saturday, about a 4 hr drive from where we live. we started early and until halfway i put my driving skills to test! the tuf time was for my hubby, not me...i was just glad at the opportunity!! :-)So i survived till Sacremento( i didnt know it was capital of CA). 2nd half of the drive was mainly on winding roads around the mountains while elevating yourself upto 7000ft! it was amazing as you get a scenic view of mountains n the lake below! awesome!! Once we entered the resort we first got a booking for para sail...I must admit from a distance it did look a bit too wild and so-not-like-me venture...but then the whole idea was to explore and try out new things...so went for it - from the 3 different heights of 400/800/1200ft we chose 800ft! i cudnt believe it myself, but i was in for it. so we walked around the beach area n enquired abt jet skiing while waiting for the parasail call.they made a group of 3 (a mother-daughter, a coupl...
