It's not often that i look out of the window and find rain drops settled on the corners of my office building.It looks suddenly all extra shiny and new-as though Mother Nature just proved her point again... Yes,the much awaited days are here.I love the "winter" here.I know the word must be an exaggeration for those who come from countries in the West, but this time of the year is certainly my favorite! The climate is super cool from last week-breezy and cloudy,I love it!And when we had a little rain this morning, it was perfect for those few minutes....We are blessed with this weather for about a quarter of every year.Yea, we have global warming reducing even that time period, but basically -Nov,Dec n Jan are much welcome in the desert!

13th November has always been special ,from the time I could remember!Somehow, 13 is also my lucky number besides being lucky enough to still keep in touch with a chilhoodfriend born on that date. At work,it was a light day.So I turned in my assignment and I am still waiting for a review comment.Cant wait to get that accepted and then I can work on the new modulein hand.The new module began the same evening.I went to classes after picking up aregular(veg burger) on the way.I swore never to go back to that Malu cafeteria again,though their burgers are so yummy, I have to look out for a new,closer place. Wishing all had a great time for Diwali/Eid! November has been great so far....with 5 days gone by- 4 of them being holidays, I can't ask for a better start! ;-) We managed to go to the temple for Diwali,well going there isn't a big deal, the bigger deal is finding an allowed parking space during the Aarti time! Anyways, we made it , thanks to maybe lady luck ,we found parking after about 10 minutes of hunting! Mehndi on the day of Eid was fun, lunching at VN's ,her little sis was too good with the designing!It was fun having a girlie chat for hours together.We dined at Mazjah-a lebanese joint at Irish Village.Very nice for a change, though very crowded, the place smelled only of sheesha and to dine in the open was enjoyable-thanks to the current pleasant weather!
