its been a while since we have had some news....s0 here we go,
The most famous 22K jeweller ,probably globally, has asked its male employees to shave off their moustaches +facial hair to keep up with their jobs!the examples are set by the owner, himself ,the managers and all the male employees irrespective of the hierarchy!now,i find this news very very interesting!having to look formal is part of most jobs but shaving off moustaches, what formality would it create?does grooming have to go to this extent???what is most capturing is the 'pride' of these men who hail from the land that claims to be 'God's own country' seems to be hit.....
So India and Pakistan,i still believe, could be the best neighbours ever, but we have decided to be influenced by political pressures even after all these years!Anyways, the point is while Indian films are "banned" in Pakistan the Indian stars are not!which goes on to show how strong piracy is.so we have ms rai, going over to their region for anti-polio campaign and we will see a paki popstar javad ahmad, sorry i dont know this guy,HELP,is coming to our nation for the same message.its a wonder that we are connected through celebrities and cricketers so well but the politicians just dont seem to cast similar spell!
Oh!so did u read/hear about the Merck case. This widow has filed a case claiming she lost her husband due to the Vioxx pills. The pills have been banned about a year ago after a research showed that the painkiller could increase the chances of stroke. The cases have gone upto $40m compensation. There are more cases being filed,i believe.
And yea,Arsenal lost to Chelsea last night at Stamford Bridge. But what the hell?it was a fluke shot by Drogba that led them to victory,a very stupid one!eeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkksssssss!!!
See ya later.
Happy Bday JA! :-)
