has it ever happened to you??

Suddenly I feel there's time in my hands....the following thoughts cross my mind...


- that model on the cover looks awesome, how is that so?
- if they actually airbrush pictures , then how come there is a good looking category?
- i want to see a brand new juice in the market,tired of the same old ones...
- i feel like shopping often.its more a thought than action.
- i like clothes that some other women wears...i want stuff like those!
- how come there is traffic only when i want to drive?
- water is good for me, very good....keep drinking..has anyone tried flavored water?
- is flavored water as good for health?
- how come some advertisements are soooo good? is it just one person or a team?
- when everyone is busy how come i have time?
- how is it that my phone rings only when i want to sleep or when i am occupied?
- why do i get tanned so quickly?
- how come technology is always surprising to me?
- why didn't i get into sports or music when i was younger?
- why is it that some people on the road overtake you like only they need to get somewhere?
- how come some strangers smile and greet you where as some of those who know you find the same difficult?
- are we all egoistic in our own ways?
- i love chips.how come the ingredients are so many?
- do guys suffer from mood swings too?
- i want comedy in every movie.
- why is it that if you are small built you need to be taken for a ride?
- how come your credit card makes you feel good while you actually accumalating debt?
- i want to travel to most parts of the world.
- i love variety of food. what's new in your lunch?
- SuDoKu is great, how did it popularise only recently?
- i just tried to hear how my body sounds. try it.
- how come my mind thinks in so many directions ?
- did time suddenly fall from sky?
- how come life is suddenly not that hectic?

Hey Rekhs! you have described time & mind just the right way..I don't think there's anyone other than myself who wud understand time in hand so well. Esp.. the thought.. comedy in movies and how come my mind thinks in so many directions.

keep up the good work.Will also hope that you dont get too much time in hand (like me), as that wud mean no job for the rest of the writers. reena

Hey Rekhs! You have described time & mind in just the right way. I am sure i wud be the first person in your list to understand 'time in hand'.The thoughts like comedy in every movie and how come mind thinks in diff directions and few more are similar to mine.

keep up the good work. Will so hope that you dont get too much time (like me) as that wud mean no job for other writers.

I have my own list to mull over.. mine includes:
- how come my baby always is so perky exactly when I am bone tired exhausted?
- how come she always wants all the food off of my plate but won't touch the stuff I make just for her?
lol.. motherhood on the brain as always these days.

I think many of the same thoughts: especially -- why is everyone always busy when I actually have free time!? Not fair. And the chip one too. Way too many ingredients! :) That's also why I stay away from flavored water. Water should just have one ingredient.

Wedding preparations...

So we made a trip to India for a fortnight, I had to write a review- it was one of a kind.(though the characteristic of hectic is an unavoidable feature!) The 1969 reunion!

My dad is currently enjoying "retirement", he recently tells me that he is soon having a 1969 college reunion! While just hearing that got me excited, the stories of how he found his college mates after 42 years was even more interesting. To begin with, he bumped into one of them and that kick started the whole process. They chatted about what they have been upto so far in life and if they were in touch with others. From there on, one thing led to another, he tells me. He met up with a few who never left town and stayed on for all these years. Today, they have managed to arrange a gathering of 25 classmates, all this without the involvement of Internet at all! Dad tells me that a couple of never touched a computer! That just concludes that the Internet is overrated and its sad that even if we are equipped with more tools, no one has time for another. So meeting up is pretty much a big deal in today's world. So proud of the 1969 batch!
