Thanks Athena for pushing me to resume blogging! :)
Luckily time flew better in the month of May and even early June...Tied up with pursuing a certificate, I was caught up writing assignment, exams and the best part was soon after. I joined hubby to Dallas...The Big D is really impressive in terms of infrastructure , really huge town. I lived in the downtown and hence felt even more tinier amongst the hotel towers, the view from our room was great though! Soon after his conference was done we drove to Stillwater and visited his University. I infact loved the countryside as a getaway and walking around the large campus was good fun! Then a little part of me wished Icould have done school in a similar manner too...Anyways, Stillwater was enjoyable and hubby was all nostalgic. Boomer Lake was a great place to walk around as well.
On our last day we headed to Hurricane Harbor water park. We tried almost all rides and I got freaked at the end of the kamikazee ride as I dipped myself and knowing the pool level was taller than me managed to scare myself instead of wading to a corner! I left the trouble to the lifeguard and besides that drama, the rest was real fun! Water parks are guaranteed to make you laugh, specially encountering with our lack of balance at times.this is actually my first visit to one.
My parents visited us soon after , so we took them around and made the best of their stay here. Now the break is over and life is back to normal. I have taken up 2 subjects just to keep me busy, the weather is good so far, sunny most of the days, love that part. I feel a need to catch up on movies, so looking out for suggestions.
these would sum up my reasons away from laptop for 2-3 weeks which seems much more though....Will blog as some new thoughts come across.
