More intake to avoid intake

As weird as it sounds, its true....definitely,the ads will support my thought....i was reading an article the other day on India Currents, where in an overweight lady had rightly pointed out that food is just too accessible these days.... for example ,stores that have nothing related to food, would still have an area for snacks or drinks!

A continuity to that thought-provoking article, I noticed how you have to eat or drink more, just to keep away from food! Drink power stuff, don't diet just eat low calorie meals, low calorie sweets, low calorie dips, 0 transfat or baked chips, easy packed food, eat to reduce cholosterol or diabetes and what not! Is all this really helping or just adding on to how much we eat.

I miss the simple eating habits...eat well on the breaks and rest your tummy....i feel like we are giving into unwanted eating habits and no wonder we are falling sick more n more! we better learn to fast in between and give our system a break....

Imagine, eating so much, that too unnecessarily, when there are people who can't even get 1 meal a day! Really saad!

Suddenly I feel there's time in my hands....the following thoughts cross my mind... - that model on the cover looks awesome, how is that so? - if they actually airbrush pictures , then how come there is a good looking category? - i want to see a brand new juice in the market, tired of the same old ones... - i feel like shopping often.its more a thought than action. - i like clothes that some other women wears...i want stuff like those! - how come there is traffic only when i want to drive? - water is good for me, very good....keep drinking..has anyone tried flavored water? - is flavored water as good for health? - how come some advertisements are soooo good? is it just one person or a team? - when everyone is busy how come i have time? - how is it that my phone rings only when i want to sleep or when i am occupied? - why do i get tanned so quickly? - how come technology is always surprising to me? - why didn't i get into sports or music when i was younger? - why is it that some ...

Hey!!!

its been a while since we have had some news....s0 here we go, The most famous 22K jeweller ,probably globally, has asked its male employees to shave off their moustaches +facial hair to keep up with their jobs!the examples are set by the owner, himself ,the managers and all the male employees irrespective of the hierarchy!now,i find this news very very interesting!having to look formal is part of most jobs but shaving off moustaches, what formality would it create?does grooming have to go to this extent???what is most capturing is the 'pride' of these men who hail from the land that claims to be 'God's own country' seems to be hit..... So India and Pakistan,i still believe, could be the best neighbours ever, but we have decided to be influenced by political pressures even after all these years!Anyways, the point is while Indian films are "banned" in Pakistan the Indian stars are not!which goes on to show how strong piracy is.so we have ms rai, going over to thei...

The Rising.....Mangal Pandey

How was the movie?well,to sum it up i was pretty disappointed,i expected a whole lot from this movie which took 2 odd years to complete! The disappointing parts are the unnecessary songs in between the seriousness of the theme.the flow is lost there somehow. Then amisha patel does damage to her role,i dont comprehend who ever regarded her as an actress!the woman couldnot wail well, smile well and not even do the pettiest part of her role any justice!Gosh, what a waste.having a narration with old pictures of about 3 odd minutes after the last scene of the movie, plus the focus on romance spoilt the look of the movie. Though the movie has flaws, the brighter side is Aamir's excellent skills in acting, yet again proven.Toby Stephens is amazing as the William Gordon.Rani did justice to her role but Kirron Kher excelled though she had less than5 scenes in the movie! The frienship between the sepoy and the officer has been done very well and also the daily torture every man and woman had to go...
