I took a week's leave from work since my sis is in town! :-)s! Yay!!
Yea, Its great to have her back...From the time she was out of the airport till today we have been chit chatting and enjoyin the sibling togetherness after a year's gap! There are moments when I think this is perfection and nothing should have changed, getting back together was not hard at all ,its at the end of her leave that things are going to get tough again for me...
Anyways, we chilled at the new shopping malls in town, dined out and went for long drives. We made it to Oman on Friday afternoon-a 2 day trip, it was worth it!Took a bus and while watching movies, exchanging comments was fun...once we were at Ruwi's Novotel, we didnt have a problem choosing which bed belongs to whom.(so glad!) and we more or less agreed on what channels to watch!
Sultanate of Oman has to offer a peaceful, nature-loving, town-like simple living for its people. The country boasts of rich Islamic architecture and greenery , be it decorating the roadsides, the round abouts, mosques, offices or even apartments. The infrastructure is excellents and place is quite enjoyable if you like mountainous drives and lovely sea views from the top!Liberal about other religions, Oman has beautiful Krishna and Siva temples. besides Ostrich and turtle farmsthe beautiful beaches at Qurum and Qantab, the Grand Mosque(must-see),the Muscat city are prime attractions. There are no crazy traffic jams or congested buildings around the city and the mountains on the backgrounds add to the beauty. If you are looking for subtle, comfortable living and escape from rat-race in dynamic cities ,Oman seems a good choice.
I am back in office today and feel kinda gloomy about that....my room is also in a mess to add to it ,somehow writing a review on holidays has helped my mood.
