Interesting documentary !

I caught this article on an interesting documentary -"Where did he come from, Where does he go?". Its about a guy,Douglas Bruce, who lost his memory in his 30's and even now cannot recall any part of his life until 37!!This sudden memory loss on his way to Coney Island.Ofcourse our friend didn't know why he was heading there....All he could do was to get off the train and tell the police that he didn't know who he was! They named him "Unknown White male" until he could find out for himself. Luckily for him, he finds this piece of paper with a woman's name and her number on it.On contacting her,he realizes its his ex-girl friend's mother. They help him get in touch with his sisters and father.Douglas was supposedly enjoying his early "retirement" to take up photography. To those who know Douglas this is too hard to accept.Everyone hopes he recovers his memory ,since doctors have predicted a 95% chance of the same.He must have been hit bad...

543!!!

I was about 10 minutes earlier to start from home.Today, the traffic movement was considerably faster !Guess many are already on leave to take advantage of the upcoming Eid holidays. I was stuck at the famous Clock Tower junction, much earlier than usual, when I saw this beautiful White Merc SLK park smooth right opposite me. Never before I thought white chinos with a black Tee looked so super cool /rather hot on a Week beginning !This guy had amazing looks too, easily almost like Brad Pitt, yes am talking much the same hair color, height and body structure.......what a treat for the eyes in the morning! He had his headphones on,white again adding beauty to the contrast Tee...... Phew! I think i am all set for this week, with such a start n may be i should start around the same time tomorrow to see if i get lucky again!!! :-) Oh yea,his black tee read "543" !

A memorable trip!

18th of October was an eagerly awaited day last year. The family was all packed up fora fortnight's trip to India for my sister's engagement.I was visiting India after a year and half then which meant I was pretty desperate to 'feel' Indian for a break! Bangalore was fun but the schedule was too tight to spend more than 4 days and I met upmany friends, went to favorite eating joints, was shocked at the traffic, happy to go to same old temples managed to visit shopping malls and Koramangala in particular had a new look to offer!Did the standard tour of temples in Kerala and soon we were in Bombay. This visit was after more than a year and I couldnot really notice much changes due tomy poor knowledge of Bombay, however the attractive part was to meet favorites and though it was such a short stay it was all so worth it.The mehndi and last minute puchases...oh!what an atmosphere!SJ n NS made it to the functionand that was really nice of them! The function was a short one and I...

Contrast to last weekend! yay!

Thursday was a family outing and we went to the Mall of Emirates. It was huge and for those familiar with City Center in Dubai, I am talking about a mall about 3 times that size. The shops etc are much the same but as usual the crowd was putting off which is why Sahara n Al Ghurair are the best! Appreciate the parking and the designing of this place. Hoping to try out the “Ski Dubai” attraction there soon! Oh!”Ski Dubai”, yes we can go Skiing in this desert !!sounds wheee huh?!!Once I experience I shall update about it being worth it or not! The idea is I have never done it ever in my life, so what so ever the experience might be I might be wrong with the “worth” part! The best part about dinner was Fried rice, I ate much more than I thought I could!i didn’t quite enjoy the rotis n curry. Friday was Fun…..woke up pretty late n made lunch-Puri n Chole ,lazed in the afternoon n then met JJ, in the evening, after almost a month! It really seemed ages since we hung out together. Though she ...

HIS love...

Life is not easy, not a bed of roses and life basically sucks n all.Yes, i agree and agree from experience more than philosophies. My friend was frustrated, with work and the environment and she came and complained and cribbed all the time, all these days,i always felt sorry for her .I wish she would get some justice somewhere. In this busy world, it was a challenge to stay at home, knowing the fact that you could have a career life too.Last evening was one of the worst experiences she had from her colleague. She is not the kind who could even curse another, she is a believer in God and she is such a nice person, ofcourse emotional and all ,sometimes she is just too soft for this harsh world.I thought where is God?Why is he not showing her a brighter day in between all these troubles? A few hours later she called me up and sounded so happy and much more relaxed. Not in the sense that everything had healed but something new brought her happiness, a sense of belonging and soothing to her tense ne...

Weekend Blues…

Weekends generally are supposed to be better, let you cool off ,reward for working hard the entire week. But this weekend was anything but rewarding! Woke up late on Friday morning to a quiet home and my head felt like 2 tons! Whenever I want to relax n finish off the petty things around me ,which I keep putting off for the next weekend, my health goes for a complete toss. I mainly have sickness of the head n spinal. so this time my head decided to kill me and though I had the warning for more than 2 days I thought it would get better with sleep. Yea, I was wrong. I hadn’t checked my eyes in a long time, so I was wondering if that could be it,but I wasn’t having any major vision problems as well,so I went to a doc the same evening and the lady said “Migraine attack”.I thought great, simply great, the next thing that I have to live with! She vaccinated a Vetrinol n declared I will be fine in ½ hour.Man, was that painful!!! I had very very light dinner and couldn’t sleep well the entire n...

Hmmmmm

So the rush days i guess are over. The holy month has begun and everything seems sober already! Past 3 days of this week, though i have been doing a lot of things, somehow there is still some emptiness.I want to lose that feeling.Waking up in the morning with the thoughts of fighting the traffic n just never managing to get to office on time, work has been quite a lot with the month closing and reports.I get about an hour to myself before classes and I end up taking copies of management books and then getting to class-half drained!Though i am the sort who concentrates most of the times, likes to respond to questions and take down notes ,the fun of it was lost with unnecessary story telling by fellow classmates and the entire topic being so very theoritical.I get home just in time for a shower and sleep -giving me hardly six hours. One of the days i was too tired to even sleep. Its such a horrible feeling-body aches, head feels like a ton n nothing really to look fwd to the following day! Today...

Party weekend!

Didn't expect anything exciting on Thursday and was unsure about plans at the start. It turned out to be quite a party n so much fun!:-) Work was quite a bit n was pretty busy until about 1500 hrs, then met Sam for late lunch, was too bloody hungry by then that i couldn't eat!Its funny how you think its the weekend n you can keep eating, but thats the least you do that day!Caught up with "Along came Polly"on DVD which was pretty okay comedy with predictable story!Ben Stiller at his best though. We had planned to go for a Hindi musical concert that evening so 4 of us went to Mina Al Seyahi and again the concert was enjoyable but it lacked momentum n though it was supposed to "Burn the Dance floor"am sure that didn't certainly happen!Got out from there about 0100hrs. Checked out a new club in the wee hours of the morning, thanks to my cousins. The music was desi n fast n it was cool but the place was packed n hence there was shortage of O2!But the lill amount of...
