Definition of a hectic day

To explain that,it was 24th of September 2005 was for me!

i woke up around 0545 hrs to get "in time" to work as we were having a meeting.By the time I got in my car around 0635 hrs and drove I thought i would reach office much beforetime but my calculation was wrong. The traffic was crazy--school buses, office buses, loadsapvt cars(1 is mine!)and mini vans all rushing up to reach Dubai "in time".I got to office only at 0815hrs!!yea,thats Traffic for you here!
My manager was waiting to start prep for the day's meeting so as soon as i got inwe rushed into it and finished up with that, arranged the desk etc.Our guests camein about 1030 hrs and we kick started with the meeting soon after round ofintroductions. Now,I thought our presentation was quite short but i was wrong.Thequestions were many, explanations were huge, some deviations in between and about1200 hrs my UK boss walked in and we totally cut off to listen to the latest happeningson the new projects. He had to leave to UK in 3 hrs time and that was priority then.By then it was lunch time and i had to drive, wasnt my idea to going to lunch at 5star.Somehow not comfortable with the valet parking they give except in the evenings.Intercon was buzzing and it suddenly seemed like everyone was on a holiday in Dubai!Once I handed over my car keys I was in the restaurant named Bouvar.Continental buffetwas on and i picked up the Hummus n Arabic bread with Tabouleh(egyptian minty salad)for starters. The main course as usual is a disappointment for Vegetarians,I pickedup more bread with some baked potatoes n spinach.Though there was some veg fried rice,it didnt seem too appealing, i got FRESH orange juice,no exaggeration--freshly squeezed!
Desserts were the best part.i picked up 2 slices of richChocolate cake with a scoop of vanilla icecream, i hope by reading that you wouldknow where i was in some minutes!ya, ya i went further from Cloud nine!wonderfulthings chocolate does to your body--sometime in future i hope to own n maintain some cocoa beans farm! :-)
Before i take off from there, after long lunch,we got back to office about 1545hrs andresumed the presentation.Though we were done with it at 1645hrs ,the lawyers wanteda new discussion to finish up the same evening. So i had to excuse myself at 1715hrs nrush up with my homework(yes, homework) for my classes.

In the next 10 mins i was on my way to the institute, got in just in time ie 1800 hrs.class wasok, but was not able to concentrate well since i had a bad headache by then.Somehow, got my mind to the case studies and answering Qs thrown out in class.Finished up at2130 hrs and met Sam after a lill chat with 2 'prospective' friends i met in class.

After i drove back home, crashed soon after my bath!

Now,u see how 17 hours of the day went on without a break,i hope my title will notbe argued with!

Suddenly I feel there's time in my hands....the following thoughts cross my mind... - that model on the cover looks awesome, how is that so? - if they actually airbrush pictures , then how come there is a good looking category? - i want to see a brand new juice in the market, tired of the same old ones... - i feel like shopping often.its more a thought than action. - i like clothes that some other women wears...i want stuff like those! - how come there is traffic only when i want to drive? - water is good for me, very good....keep drinking..has anyone tried flavored water? - is flavored water as good for health? - how come some advertisements are soooo good? is it just one person or a team? - when everyone is busy how come i have time? - how is it that my phone rings only when i want to sleep or when i am occupied? - why do i get tanned so quickly? - how come technology is always surprising to me? - why didn't i get into sports or music when i was younger? - why is it that some ...

Hey!!!

its been a while since we have had some news....s0 here we go, The most famous 22K jeweller ,probably globally, has asked its male employees to shave off their moustaches +facial hair to keep up with their jobs!the examples are set by the owner, himself ,the managers and all the male employees irrespective of the hierarchy!now,i find this news very very interesting!having to look formal is part of most jobs but shaving off moustaches, what formality would it create?does grooming have to go to this extent???what is most capturing is the 'pride' of these men who hail from the land that claims to be 'God's own country' seems to be hit..... So India and Pakistan,i still believe, could be the best neighbours ever, but we have decided to be influenced by political pressures even after all these years!Anyways, the point is while Indian films are "banned" in Pakistan the Indian stars are not!which goes on to show how strong piracy is.so we have ms rai, going over to thei...

The Rising.....Mangal Pandey

How was the movie?well,to sum it up i was pretty disappointed,i expected a whole lot from this movie which took 2 odd years to complete! The disappointing parts are the unnecessary songs in between the seriousness of the theme.the flow is lost there somehow. Then amisha patel does damage to her role,i dont comprehend who ever regarded her as an actress!the woman couldnot wail well, smile well and not even do the pettiest part of her role any justice!Gosh, what a waste.having a narration with old pictures of about 3 odd minutes after the last scene of the movie, plus the focus on romance spoilt the look of the movie. Though the movie has flaws, the brighter side is Aamir's excellent skills in acting, yet again proven.Toby Stephens is amazing as the William Gordon.Rani did justice to her role but Kirron Kher excelled though she had less than5 scenes in the movie! The frienship between the sepoy and the officer has been done very well and also the daily torture every man and woman had to go...
