hmmmmmmm

Rare days, but very much welcome. They may be temporary happiness but they are happiness after all.Started off on a trip to the temple in the morning ,the met up with cousins and fly for bfast at a restuarant. We went on to do shopping together, the first ever time in all my life,it was a lot of fun,i must admit. We also had lunch together, though the guys preferred to leave us for kudi!then we drove back home, chatted up a while and we realised how time has flown!
Folks off to sleep,i caught up with my friend and checked about the movie plan.We decided to meet in about 30 mins,so i was off and traffic was real bad.So we were a lill late to get to the theatre but we managed.I must admit Al Massa was a great experience, from the exterior look to the well done interiors and lovely cafes ,the place seemed magical.

We watched Madagascar-the movie was very cute.Hilarious,as Sam mentioned, very well done,Chris Rock-ed and Jada Smith gave outstanding vocals too.The idea of how the 'civilized' zebra wanted to go zoo-loose and how his highly concerned dear friends, along with him, get into an adventurous trip to Madagascar trying to get him back is very very well done. The penguin set were the most hilarious with their FBI sorta approach for things we consider silly and un-done by animals takes you out of this world. The crazy King of the Wild captured a lot of attention with heavy Indian sorta accent. The imagination is beautiful,am glad there are such minds at work too. This is the sort of movie you should watch to make you feel better.
The traffic was very bad and it took me an hour to drop friends and get back home!:-( Folks were almost asleep.had some cold dinner and chatted quite a lot to Sam,Sam has been an angel in the last few days!

now have to hit the bed ,a long week to look forward to.phew!I am tired....

Suddenly I feel there's time in my hands....the following thoughts cross my mind... - that model on the cover looks awesome, how is that so? - if they actually airbrush pictures , then how come there is a good looking category? - i want to see a brand new juice in the market, tired of the same old ones... - i feel like shopping often.its more a thought than action. - i like clothes that some other women wears...i want stuff like those! - how come there is traffic only when i want to drive? - water is good for me, very good....keep drinking..has anyone tried flavored water? - is flavored water as good for health? - how come some advertisements are soooo good? is it just one person or a team? - when everyone is busy how come i have time? - how is it that my phone rings only when i want to sleep or when i am occupied? - why do i get tanned so quickly? - how come technology is always surprising to me? - why didn't i get into sports or music when i was younger? - why is it that some ...

Hey!!!

its been a while since we have had some news....s0 here we go, The most famous 22K jeweller ,probably globally, has asked its male employees to shave off their moustaches +facial hair to keep up with their jobs!the examples are set by the owner, himself ,the managers and all the male employees irrespective of the hierarchy!now,i find this news very very interesting!having to look formal is part of most jobs but shaving off moustaches, what formality would it create?does grooming have to go to this extent???what is most capturing is the 'pride' of these men who hail from the land that claims to be 'God's own country' seems to be hit..... So India and Pakistan,i still believe, could be the best neighbours ever, but we have decided to be influenced by political pressures even after all these years!Anyways, the point is while Indian films are "banned" in Pakistan the Indian stars are not!which goes on to show how strong piracy is.so we have ms rai, going over to thei...

The 1969 reunion!

My dad is currently enjoying "retirement", he recently tells me that he is soon having a 1969 college reunion! While just hearing that got me excited, the stories of how he found his college mates after 42 years was even more interesting. To begin with, he bumped into one of them and that kick started the whole process. They chatted about what they have been upto so far in life and if they were in touch with others. From there on, one thing led to another, he tells me. He met up with a few who never left town and stayed on for all these years. Today, they have managed to arrange a gathering of 25 classmates, all this without the involvement of Internet at all! Dad tells me that a couple of never touched a computer! That just concludes that the Internet is overrated and its sad that even if we are equipped with more tools, no one has time for another. So meeting up is pretty much a big deal in today's world. So proud of the 1969 batch!
